September 20th, 2008 at the Meridian in beautiful
downtown Houston be there for Metal Fest 2008!
Doors open at 9:30am
and the festivities begin at 10am. Advance tickets
are only $15 and are available now or $20 the day
of the show!
Suhr

Custom built by Chris
Benavente himself, these instruments are as
unique as the players who choose these basses.
We now have in stock
a Benavente SCD 5 Single Cut. Ecuadorian rosewood
comprises the top and back with a mahogany core,
ebony fretboard, multi ply 35" scale maple
neck w/rosewood streamers. Electronics are a Benavente
- designed pickup and preamp combination. Here's
more about the electronics from Benavente's
website:
"The
Benavente 3 band eq system is an 18v standard
setup. The unique feature about this preamp
is that at center detent, there is absolutely
no preloaded EQ curves. There is absolutely
no tonal differences between switching from
passive to active at center detent.. This allows
the player to have a true flat starting point
with the instrument and understanding of the
instruments natural tone. Almost every other
preamp on the market is pre colored."

Our instore repair
shop has more technicians. What does this
mean to you? Repairs are now able to be completed
within days not weeks! We now have the
fastest turnaround time in town and with labor
charges at only $75/hour, we are also the least
expensive. Bring it Monday and take it home Friday
in time for the gig that weekend! (Repair times
may still be delayed if parts are not in stock
for that particular repair.) Now is the time to
bring in your gear that needs repair!
