Audio Technica

AT IEM2 System AT IEM3 System

Audio-Technica is proud to introduce its new M2 and M3 Wireless In-Ear Monitor Systems. These feature-rich systems are designed to provide comfortable, crystal-clear sound on stage. Both systems are equipped with earphones offering a proprietary Audio-Technica dynamic driver with richly detailed high-fidelity sound. The clean, articulate mix allows performers to hear themselves at a comfortable volume. Instead of hearing a one-size-fits-all mix, performers have the benefit of Audio-Technica’s Personal Mix Control, offering independent control of volume and mix at the receiver. Delivering a wide array of professional features, the M2 & M3 Wireless In-Ear Monitor Systems are the new standard for in-ear audio in live performance.

Fender NAMM 2008

Fender released updated models and re-named the USA guitars with the familiar "American Standard" name. Features within the line are as follows:

  • (Telecaster) A new bridge with improved bent-steel saddles mounted to a stamped-brass bridge plate for increased resonance and sustain.
  • (Stratocaster) A new bridge with improved bent-steel saddles and a copper-infused high-mass block for increased resonance and sustain.

BOSS and Roland NAMM 2008

Roland and BOSS always offer new and exciting products and this year was no different! The following is by no means the only new products offered by Roland and Boss. These are a few highlighted items we felt would generate some excitement in our store.

For guitarists and bassists, BOSS offers two new additions to the Micro Cube line - The Micro Cube RX and The Bass Micro Cube RX. Features include multiple amp models, adjustable digital effects, and STEREO sound! This little things sound HUGE!

BOSS also updated the BR-900 CD portable digital 8 track recorder. With Version 2, BOSS takes the best BR features and expands it with dozens of new COSM® guitar-amp models, plus a super-cool new drum-editing software app and 500 minutes of recording time via 1GB Compact Flash.

Roland offers the new Fantom G series workstation keyboards. The Fantom-G is a dream instrument that redefines the boundaries of playability and creativity with its advanced sound engine, revolutionary ARX SuperNATURAL expansion bay, large-sized color LCD, powerful new audio/MIDI sequencer, first-class Ivory Feel weighted keys (Fantom G8 model) and more.

Roland's CD-2e updates an Evans Music City favorite! Smaller in size, simpler to use the new CD-2e takes the best from the past and enhances it for the next generation. From rehearsals to recitals, lectures to live-music events, the CD-2e is the fastest way to capture the moment and render it to CD or SD memory card for storage or distribution.

With the addition of the TD-9SX electonic drums to it's V-drum line, the mid-range V-Drums family has new bragging rights. The new TD-9 sound module, with a new advanced sound engine at its core, is loaded with fresh sounds, and offers a deeper level of expression. Together with Roland’s most advanced triggering technology, this kit is destined to become a big hit with drummers worldwide.

About the NAMM Show

NAMM Show logo

The NAMM Show is the largest music products trade show in United States. Held every January in Anaheim, California, USA the show brings together all facets of the music products industry to reveal new musical instruments/products and ideas to help music products retailers and manufacturers become more successful. More than 80,000 NAMM Members and guests attended the January 2007 show. The NAMM Show is not open to the general public.

The acronym NAMM originally stood for the National Association of Music Merchants, but has evolved from a national entity representing the interests of music products retailers to an international association including both commercial, retail members and affiliates. Therefore, the long form of the name is no longer used, and it is simply known as NAMM, the International Music Products Association.

The 2008 show was January 17 through January 20 in Anaheim.

Future NAMM Shows will be Jan. 15 - 18, 2009 and Jan. 14 - 17, 2010.
